SX Guitars

Yes, this site is about Agile guitars, we know. But in this article we want to take a look at a sister brand, also retailed by Rondo Music, the SX Guitars. A quick overview.

SX Guitars

Rondo Music makes great instruments at amazing prices. This last sentence is never more truthful than when we look at the variety, quality and affordability of the SX Guitars. Yes, we like Agiles better of course, but the SXs are also worth considering, particularly if you are on a tight budget or you are just starting with guitar playin’. There are a lot of models, and prices all the way from $79 (yes, there’s no mistake there) to a couple of hundred bucks. Unlike the Agiles, the SX Guitars are produced in China and imported and distributed by Rondo Music. Let’s take a look at the best-seller models.

SX Furrian

The Furrian is the SX take on the Telecaster type of guitar. Starting at only $79.95 this SX Telecaster is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a classic axe, to play rock and roll or blues, and do not want to spend that much. Also, besides the traditional Tele models you can find some semi-hollow options at around $170, still very tempting.

The SX Furrian features:

  • Traditional 3-piece solid Ash or Alder body (semi-hollow in selected models)
  • Maple neck and fretboard (rosewood on some models)
